夜生活

 难得有机会和普通人一样,在黄昏时分“下班”。
 难得有空的夜晚,该如何好好度过?
 心里转过了好几个念头。
 看《雷雨》感染文学气氛?
 出席派对热闹喝一杯?
 上餐馆享用丰富大餐?
 看电影?逛街?
 就这样一直开着车子,还没有想到目的。
 路过Balestier,转进去看看拆除了的黄埔小贩中心。
 到临时搭建的新地方,寻访熟悉的旧摊位。
 巴特尔找到他的牛肉面,我吃了一碟菜头果。
 然后在邻里商店区里走了一圈,观察杂货店里在买卖什么、咖啡店在谈论什么话题、电视在播放什么连续剧……
 考虑了很久的“夜生活”,原来不需要太过刻意花俏。
 平民简单,最为舒服自在。

so u went to whampoa hawker centre! i grew up in that area! i'm glad u like the food there. my only complaint is that the temporary place is a bit small & quite warm. but then never mind becoz my mum said it'll only take one year to renovate the new market/ hawker centre.

bak kut teh, satay beehoon, beef kway teow, chicken wing...I'm so glad the stalls are still there when I checked it up.
 
oh, i like the chicken wings too, yumyum! my favourite is the rojak. i'm glad the uncle is still doing it, he talked abt retiring before. i also like the satay beehoon. i actually like it that it is in a small and neat portion, and the cockles, so fresh and Q. do u like the fried oyster? it's quite delicious too. my mum likes the hokkien fried prawn noodles. oh my, so many good food. funny thing is that i never tried the beef kway teow and bak kut teh before, are they any good?
 
can't talk about food now, had a very bad lao sai...
